The Jerry Vezza Trio at Long Hill Library

Sunday, Feb 24 @ 2:00 pm
In the mood for music?
Join us at the Long Hill Township Library to hear the Jerry Vezza Trio featuring Jerry Vezza on piano, Tom DiCarlo on bass and Eliot Zigmund on drums.
The Trio will perform a program of standards that Jerry has arranged, and will also include a few originals. The standards might include "Gone with the Wind" or "Summer Night," both in a 6/8, waltzlike feeling. "I like the dance aspect of the waltz. It's beautiful," Jerry says. Or maybe he'll go with an upbeat "How About You." "I can't get enough of that swing feel," he says. One more might be Miles Davis' "Solar" -- "a tune that you can really open and explore."
Come, be surprised. You'll enjoy it. Guaranteed.
The Long Hill Library is located at 917 Valley Road, Gillette, NJ. Reach them at 908-647-2088 or www.longhilllibrary.org
This program is made possible through the Wharton Music Center in Berkeley Heights. Concerts are free to the public.

The ultimate eye-opening journey through time and space, revealing the world in a way most of us have never seen it before.
