Libraries in New Jersey provide access to many great resources for job seekers. Of course there are the traditional resume and cover letter "how to" books, but we also have free computer access if you need to apply online; we can get you books if you're studying for a job related exam; and we provide some online tools you can use to get help.
Job and Career Accelerator - www.homeworkhelpnj.org, then click on "Get Career Help." This resource is staffed from 2 pm to 10 pm and you can find online help on polishing your resume or cover letter, interview prep, citizenship and much more.
Reference USA - www.referenceusa.com - this invaluable resource provides detailed, current contact and directory information for more than 12 million US businesses (as well as residential phone listings as well).
