LOCAL TEENS CONQUER MOUNT KILIMANJARO

Earlier this year Matthew Hachey, from Long Hill Township, and Mike Barta, from Warren Township, climbed the highest free-standing mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro.

Matt and Mike, seniors at Watchung Hills Regional High School, achieved their goal of reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro, 19,331 feet above sea level, and declared it "the most beautiful thing we've ever seen."

If you'd like to experience the thrill of being there, join Matt at the Long Hill Township Library on Thursday, June 16th at 7:00 pm. Matt will be sharing stories, pictures and more. To register, call: 908-647-2088 ext 0.
